Fimo Dinosaurs

Fimo Dinosaurs

Since finding the paleo-art community Art Evolved I have begun to think about dinosaurs in 3D – what I wanted was a Wiggly Pet, dino cross which is what I think I have achieved here with these little critters and yes I am aware that they are not all dinosaurs!

It all started with the trilobite at the front 🙂 I would quiet like some feed back on these thanks 🙂

The Tribute

The Tribute

This picture was drawn as a sketch whilst I was out writing stories in cafes, it is basically the premis for a fantasy, scifi story. I was trying to blend manga and various comic book styles but it came out in what I think off as Moomin Style 😉

The Periodical Periodicals

I have been working for years now on a series of children’s books that explain the elements – the Periodical Periodicals and these are some of the character designs I have been coming up with 🙂

Mermaid

This picture does need some sorting out but I think it is a good basis to start from. I love drawing, painting/making seascapes and ones with mermaids in are exactly what my little girl wants 🙂

The Look Out

The look out

Drawn with a fine liner as a doodle in my sketch book – I want to make this landscape come alive so maybe fiddling around with it on the computer – I love the little creature and the loneliness of the landscape. I borrowed imagery from when I was geologying in Spain.

The Sorrowful eye

This eye was part of the Three Types of Mourning picture I drew but I feel this came out the best.

Three ways to Morn

Shelter From the Desert Flood

Shelter from the desert flood

This is done in fine liner in my sketch pad – I tried to convey a sense of the rocks making up a dynamic and harsh landscape but one that none the less lends itself to life. If you wish to see a bigger version of it just click on the picture.

Percy The Pebble

Percy the Pebble is a character I made up before my little girl was even thought about 🙂

Percy the Pebble

This is me brain storming for one of the stories I have written about him and his adventures – in this one he befriends a baby pebble who turns out to be seed!

Anyway if you want to see a bigger version just click on the image.

Kids Space

My little girl loves space – as in astronomy/cosmos stuff so I am trying to design a sort of Kids Space for stories and the like 🙂 I think this is definatly one that is going in for post processes in the computer! If you want to see a bigger version just click on it!
